Senior Financial Accountant - FX Brokerage

The Company

My client are a subsidiary firm of a larger group of the same name, are one of the world's leading providers of Forex trading technologies and services to both private and institutional traders

Main Responsibilities:

* Financial modelling with the ability create integrated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement
* Produce month-end management accounts to a high standard
* Cash flow management
* Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the balance sheet
* Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts across all services, conduct bank reconciliation - client money
* Revenue reconciliation
* Monthly payroll
* Identify and address any anomalies in a timely manner
* Work as part of a team to resolve issues
* Responsible for and reconciliation of petty cash
* Complete and submit financial reports to the FCA
* Complete and submit VAT returns
* Process HRMC NI and Tax Returns on a monthly and annual basis
* Process client withdrawals
* Reconciliation of company credit card
* Prepare and process supplier payments in accordance with payment terms to best manage cash flow
* Deal with supplier queries
* Process a large volume of invoices and staff and office expenses
* You will be required to carry out such duties and job functions as assigned by the company
* Ensuring that the company adheres to high standards of ethics and corporate behaviour
* Deliver analysis and presentation of financial data
* Liaise with the FX team re the application of client deposits to their MT4 accounts
* Prepare year end accounts for approval
* Manage the year end audit
* Ad-hoc duties as and when required

Essential Skills & Experience needed:

* Qualified ACA/ACCA
* Current FX Accounting experience
* 7 years + experience
* Previous experience of HRMC reporting
* FCA reporting - monthly, quarterly, annual
* Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting packages/systems (Sage)
* Wide experience of accounts preparation
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Pro-active and organised, capable of multi-tasking and prioritising workload
* Financial modelling
