Description

This top 10 firm's specialist financial services group offering includes:

 Experience drawn from over 200 financial services clients;

 Advice and resources from our dedicated sector group in operation for over 20 years; and

 Regular technical and sector updates.

They work with more than 200 financial services businesses, including brokers, UK and overseas derivative and commodity traders, payment services firms, fund managers, UK and non UK funds, corporate finance boutiques, private equity managers and venture capitalists.

The Financial Services Assurance and Business Services team provides audit and advisory services to a wide range of businesses within the financial services sector. These include external audit, Client Assets ('CASS') reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority, internal audit, regulatory advisory projects and accounting support.

Job Description

Purpose of role:

To plan, perform and complete the audit process for each assignment within the Financial Services Assurance and Business Services team. To be part of a team providing other assurance services to clients within the Financial Services sector.

Profile

Education/Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent

Key Experience/Skills:

  • Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
  • Demonstrable ability to organise self and others, such that you can work on several different assignments at one time.

Job Offer

Salary up to £46,000.
