about the company
Our client is an expanding insurance business in Asia.
- Develop audit strategy policy and procedure in line with external and internal requirements and international best practice
- Develop a risk-based plan for internal audit activities for approval by audit committee
- Manage resources to deliver audit plan
- Evaluate governance, operations and information systems regarding reliability and integrity of financial and operational information together with process owner
- Review effectiveness and efficiency of operations together with process owner
- Prepare report on internal audit engagements
- Undertake investigation assignments and support in due-diligence process
skills & experiences required
- CPA or Certified Internal Auditor qualification
- At least 15 years of proven track record in building and managing Internal Audit functions
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and international regulatory developments
- Strong presentation and communication skills in fluent English
- Ability to work as part of a senior leadership team
