This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global insurance company in Sydney CBD.

Role: Manager, Finance Policy

Salary: $150,000k - $180,000k + Super + Bonus

Location: Sydney CBD

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global insurance company, dealing directly with the business to lead development of technical accounting guidance and training in accordance with IFRS & local standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop & present technical accounting updates on existing and new accounting standards to support the global finance team
  • Develop & update internal accounting policies & guidance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, legal & regulatory guidelines
  • Share knowledge, influence, coach and develop colleagues and stakeholders globally

Key Requirements:
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge - IFRS
  • Knowledge of general insurance/reinsurance and related accounting
  • Good knowledge of controls
  • Good understanding of technical accounting compliance
  • CA/CPA qualified
