Financial Controller

This financial controller position based in Marlow, is a newly created role to assist the financial director in making key business decisions within the new function. Your role will be to ensure that financial records are accurate and the finance function achieves the key objectives set.

Client Details

My client are a large technology company based in Marlow. Due to a recent growth, my client are seeking a financial controller to work in partnership with the finance director to ensure key objectives are met.

Description

You will be working very closely with the finance director to ensure financial and commercial risks are limited, you will manage the relationship between the finance function and other departments of the organisation. You will ensure weekly packs are up to date and journals are posted on time.

Alongside this, you will manage direct reports and ensure that objectives are met, weekly, monthly and yearly. You will do this by communicating effectively with the finance director and building a strong relationship with other key department heads within the organisation.

Profile

You will be qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.

Ideally you will already be a finance manager and have experience managing a team. This may suit a finance manager of a SME looking for their next step in their career.

A basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000 is on offer, however, this is depending on experience.
