Accounts Assistant We are looking for a very competent accounts function all rounder who will be responsible for payroll and accounts payable and sundry office duties. Familiarity with the hotel industry would be beneficial but not essential. As would experience with Sage 50, micropay, Procure Wizard and Hotsoft software systems.We are looking for somebody who can hit the ground running in this fast-paced environment and You must be able to communicate effectively with hotel staff ,management and suppliers. Duties: Accounts payable Daily processing of invoices once authorised on the accounts system and following up with staff for authorisation where needed. Reconciliation of creditor accounts to supplier statements on a regular basis. The ability to follow up with and answer any queries to or from suppliers. Set-up of payments due to suppliers on online banking system for further authorisation. Manage and control information from Procure Wizard.   Payroll Run the payroll on a weekly basis and ensure that the information from the time management system has been imported correctly. The ability to investigate any differences between the payroll system and the time management system. The ability to set-up new employees on the system and generally maintain the information on the payroll system. Produce the necessary weekly reports for payroll for review and authorisation of same by supervisors. Production and distribution of payslips in a timely manner. Set-up of weekly bank file to be uploaded to the online banking system and processing of this payment.   The successful candidate would also be expected to perform general office duties and assist others where needed.
