Financial Analyst

Our manufacturing and production client are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join the team in our Basingstoke office.

In this role you will support the business partner to the directors with respect to indirect cost reporting, budgeting and analysis. The Financial Analyst team is based primarily in Basingstoke.

Description

Financial Analyst Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management reporting
• Monthly review of cost lines across multiple legal entities and prepare commentary
• Review accruals and deferrals in SAP
• Work with business managers to report monthly on key indirect costs
• Work with internal colleagues from , General Ledger and Financial Reporting Services to ensure monthly financials are accurate
• Assist with the preparation of reforecasts and budgets, preparing templates and inputs and reviewing for accuracy and reasonableness
• Monthly FTE reporting, coordinating with HR teams and the business to ensure correct structures are in place

Profile

The ideal Financial Analyst will have:

• Qualified accountant or working towards qualification
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience working within a large and global organisation
• Strong and working knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting process
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive
• Attentive to detail and accuracy
• Advanced Excel
