SUMMARY

The individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of all business implementation events and associated tasks. They will work directly with Internal NT teams, external parties and NTAM clients and provide cover for the Business Implementation Manager.
Business Implementation events will include but not be limited to new business/clients, lost business/ clients, fund launches/closures/restructures, custodian changes, new market set-up's, static data changes and migration projects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake client transition activities, including in-specie transfers, new/lost business and fund launches
• custody changes,
• market account openings, standing instructions updates,
• static data changes/set up
• Co-ordinate meetings with local and global Transition teams
• Maintain and update transitions events on team work schedule held in Sharepoint
• Maintain internal client account lists with new/lost business and static data changes



SKILLS

• Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisation skills are essential
• Ability to prioritise multiple work streams and meet tight deadlines
• Proven understanding of asset management terminology and familiarity with investments instruments is essential
• Thorough understanding of Operations functions and responsibilities
• Excellent PC literacy required with strong knowledge of MS-
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload are essential
• Self-motivated, able to think ahead and schedule tasks in good order
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners
• Determination to identify and follow issues through to resolution
• Flexible attitude and ability to change priorities quickly
• Ability to influence other departments to deliver in a timely manner, with the tenacity to follow up on outstanding actions and drive results
• Proven ability to quickly understand new systems. Both in-house and market data providers

EXPERIENCE

• Extensive experience working within an Asset Management house
• Experience of working on passive Index mandates would be beneficial
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment
• In-depth industry knowledge with extensive experience of operational, middle office and front office support functions
• Knowledge of Factset and Bloomberg systems an advantage
