Manage the office administration/Finance to ensure the organisation operates in an efficient manner, exceeding customers' expectations. Adopt best practice throughout office admin processes, driving change and process improvement as necessary. Facilitate the day-to-day operations and the planning with the CEO to enhance business effectiveness and efficiency.

An expanding SME with an excellent opportunity for a Business Support Manager to be fully involved in a range of tasks throughout the business.

Description

  • Manage the day-to-day office administration
  • Ensure all contributors to efficient office admin understand their roles / responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting processes liaising with external accountant support as needed (including VAT, Tax, staff expense claims etc etc)
  • Oversee payroll processes
  • Oversee all bank accounts & foreign exchange transactions.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow projection processes
  • Produce management accounts
  • Manage company HR process including contracts, recruitment, holidays, training, healthcare etc
  • Ensure robust systems, processes and procedures are in place for all key business processes
  • Manage credit control processes
  • Manage warranty administration processes (external suppliers and in-house)
  • Manage pricing strategy implementation / update
  • Monitor key aircraft parts purchasing processes (stock holding, stock turn, service levels etc)
  • Manage company facilities, leasehold obligations and tenant contracts
  • Document software procedures and, where necessary, provide advice and guidance as to how to use the systems effectively.
  • Managing IT system hardware across the business, including processes for security protection, back-ups etc.
  • Ensure all forms of correspondence are handled quickly and efficiently to maintain high levels of customer service (internal and external)
  • Manage key business support processes such expenditure approvals, Health & Safety, security, insurance cover, GDPR etc etc
  • Manage the process around stationery ordering and manage supplies
  • Identify and implement key measures of performance within the business
  • Handle any other requests specified by the CEO
