Senior Managerial Accounting Reporting

This role will focus on analysis and UAT of new system projects which are related to the monthly managerial accounting reporting. The successful candidate will have exposure to data analysis, data reconciliation and structuring of new reporting workflow (data retrieval, verification of consistency, etc.) The main responsibilities are about the managerial accounting reporting, but potentially he/she will engage in various ad-hoc projects/analysis for the business operations of Singapore entity.

Job responsibilities:

• To deliver the monthly managerial accounting reports to head office and internal clients in Singapore entity.
• To conduct UAT, in particular, data query structuring and reconciliations for the new system projects.
• To structure and run new Business As Usual (BAU) workflows after new system go-live.
• To analyse and maintain the effectiveness of reporting workflow.
• To work for various ad-hoc projects/reporting.

Job requirements:

• Experienced with finance, back-office, or IT for major financial institutions for at least 3-5 years.
• Knowledge of database concepts.
• Understanding of accountancy and how it is applied in the real businesses at operation/finance of large financial institutions.
• Knowledge on the commercial banking products.
• Experience of running BAU process independently for monthly/daily reporting.
• Experience of UAT, in particular, understanding of how reconciliations work and how variance should be analysed and resolved.
• Skills to structure query for data retrieval from MIS database.
• Individual must be detail-orientated and able to multitask.
