Commercial Finance Analyst

At Lex Consultancy we are currently recruiting on behalf of a global online services organisation with offices in South Dublin. Due to continued growth and expansion they currently have a vacancy available for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join their busy finance team. The purpose of this role will be to monitor revenue, cost and margin performance of the company's marketing activities and to provide weekly/monthly reviews of marketing performance. Key responsibilities will include: Assist in running the budgeting & re-forecasting process for the marketing department Act as the key link between marketing and finance to ensure the accurate reporting of performance Analyse, understand and report on budget/forecast variances to eliminate uncertainty and present a true picture of performance Set up and maintain dashboards to track and measure KPI/financial performance of the marketing organisation Provide business commentary on performance against targets, understanding key drivers of over/under performance Responsible for ongoing performance management of all marketing investment Monitor return on investment for all marketing campaigns and initiatives Assist the commercial manager in preparing business cases, and estimating ROI of potential new investments/strategic initiatives Deliver analytics projects to understand emerging trends affecting performance, drive key insights, and support critical business decision making Act as business partner supporting the customer acquisition, brand and retention teams Assist in the preparation of presentations to the board, shareholders, and senior management Actively participate and take ownership of adhoc projects as they arise Interested applicants will meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree (preferably in finance or marketing) Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) desirable but not essential. 1-2 years previous experience of working in a finance / analytics / commercial / digital marketing role Advanced knowledge of MS Excel First rate analytical skills with a sound understanding of the commercial impact of the reported figures Strong data modelling and analysis skills Highly articulate and influential with strong presentation and communication skills Excellent numerical ability, problem solving and negotiation skills Highly motivated and deadline driven Ability to work with complex data sets To be considered for this position, please send a copy of your cv for immediate review via the enclosed link.
