  • The review and approval of effective frameworks for valuation audit and compliance
  • Providing a second line of defence oversight of audit activities undertaken by external panel managers and valuers

The skills you'll need

We're looking for a qualified Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with significant post qualification experience in UK residential property valuation. Along with excellent analytical skills, you'll have an awareness of residential property valuation, property risk assessment and property market analysis. You'll also be able to translate complex analytical concepts into a concise and simple proposal.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Effective decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and experience developing and motivating a team
  • The ability to effectively engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, and communicate at a senior level
  • A background advising clients who are buying, building or investing in housing

Experience reporting to mortgage lenders would be useful, as would an understanding of panel management, the AVM market and related mortgage valuation IT solutions. Audit experience would also be useful.
