Accounts Clerk - Part Time (Maternity Cover) Holiday Inn Express Dublin City Centre - Dublin Job Description Account Clerk: Part - time 26 hours per week in a fast-growing, dynamic organisation. The ideal candidate will have: Excellent organisational and administration skills. Hotel / Leisure industry experience would be very beneficial. Strong IT skills with previous experience working with MS Excel Be highly motivated with an ability to take ownership and possess strong attention to detail. Possess good ability to multitask. Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Good analytical and problem-solving ability. Fluent command of the English language, with strong communication skills is required. Ability to grow with the role. The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Clerk will have responsibility for and will be working in all areas of the accounts department up to trial balance stage, with responsibility for assisting the Financial Controller with any ad hoc duties they may require. The position is very varied and hands on and involves: To assist with the accounts, function in the hotel and coffee shop Maintenance of the daily income audit and carryout all cash/credit card reconciliation duties. Ensure investigations take place of any discrepancies and to follow up with management on any issues. Performance analysis and reporting (productivity, spending variances). Accounts payable and dealing with supplier payment requests and queries. Nominal Ledger work - Maintenance of nominal Ledger- journal entries & account Month-end work. Some wage preparation, experience an advantage. Process improvement within the accounts department to streamline / improve productivity. Job Type: Part-time (Maternity Cover) Salary: €11.00 to €12.00 /hour
