Regional Finance Director

THE COMPANY

• Great opportunity to oversee the regional finance function for a dynamic manufacturing business with revenue size of $100 million USD.
• Our client is an MNC in the energy space and is looking for an experienced Finance Controller to spearhead and execute their regional strategy and be a business partner to other Business Units.

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity to head a Finance team of 7 people in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Philippines. Working closely with the CFO and the General Manager of the business. The Finance Director will be responsible for:

• Overall control of company's financial strategy; budgeting, planning and analysis
• Looking at the company's top and bottom line, and Implementing strategies to reduce cost through improving efficiency
• Internal stakeholder management to complete biannual and annual financial and management reports and budgeting activities, and liaising with external stakeholder such as the external auditors on annual audits
• Being a business partner to the GM and supporting the CFO on the company's regional initiatives
• Coordinating corporate finances with regards to its capital requirements, and M&A activities

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal Finance Director:

• Possesses a Degree in Accountancy/ Finance. ACCA or CPA graduates may also apply
• Has at least 15 years of work experience, with at least 4 to 7 of them in managerial role
• Is articulate, has strong business acumen and is a strong leader
