Location: Claremorris area Minimum Years' Experience: 2 years An extremely busy retail firm based in Mayo are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time basis to join their team. This role is perfect for a person with experience working with a finance team and enjoys working in a professional environment. You will report to the Financial Controller. Our preferred Candidate will have: Minimum of 2 years experience of accruals accounting in a FMCG business required Excellent computing skills and knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, WinRetail, MaitreD, timePlus Experience of wages processing, preferably Collsoft Report generation from multiple data sources Excellent attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines, on time, every time Ability to work as a part of a team and interact across companies Duties will include: Purchase Ledger, multi-company Accounts payable, to include Creditor A/c reconciliation Posting Bank Account & updating Cash Flow forecasts Report generation Bank reconciliations Nominal and Inter-co Journals Preparation of Returns to VAT, PAYE/Prsi Cover for other back-office functions during holiday periods
