The post of Management Accountant is an opportunity for an experienced individual to work alongside the Finance Team in ensuring the provision of outstanding service

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for;

• Posting journals
• Managing prepayments, accruals and fixed assets schedules.
• Assisting with month and year end procedures, including monthly reconciliations.
• Involvement with quarterly / annual forecasting processes
• Completion of the VAT return and ensuring compliance with payment deadlines.
• System balancing and reporting any discrepancies to system support team.
• Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, monthly management accounts along with variance analysis and commentary.
• Working with team leaders to review budgets and under/over overhead spend along with timings of invoice payments.
• Management of the year end statutory audit process
• System set ups and maintenance
• Dealing with enquiries from other teams, including billing assistance.
• Other ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will be AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA part qualified and will be looking to continue studying towards an accountancy qualification
