Financial Accountant

I am currently working with an iconic business in Dover who are seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join their team.

Client Details

My client are currently undergoing a major transformation project of which this role will play a significant part.

Description

The role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Ensure the business is compliant with all current accounting standards and reporting as defined by FRS 102.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated accounts and quarterly accounts for the pension scheme.
• Monitor, analyse and report on the capital costs incurred by the business and its subsidiaries.
• Produce weekly cash flows for each company.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual costs budget and three year corporate plan for all balance sheet related items.
• Be responsible for the preparation and administration of the European grant funding declaration.
• Audit key elements of the project.
• Prepare and process VAT returns and review PAYE reconciliations.

Profile

Your profile will be similar to the following:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Degree educated preferable.
• Ideally qualified from practice.
• Up to date technical accounting knowledge.
