Accounts/Client Manager - Leading, Local Firm

A Weybridge-based independent firm, with an excellent reputation in the local market, are looking for a qualified Client Manager to look after an exciting portfolio of clients and manage a growing team.

Based in the firms Weybridge offices, this accountancy practice has developed a strong reputation across Devon and further afield. The firm acts for a wide spectrum of clients, very wide ranging in size and industry, acting for SME, OMBs, corporates, sole traders and partnerships. Core clients range across the £500k - £5million mark, with additional larger corporate up to £20 - 50million in turnover. Within the specific team where this role is focused, clients range from smaller sole traders, partnerships and limited companies into the millions across unincorporated and corporated SMEs, OMBs, with services focused on accounts, personal and corporate tax and other wider ranging added value services.

Description

Joining as a Client Manager in the firms Weybridge offices, you will take on the management of a varied portfolio in a hands on role, ensuring the delivery of a quality service and building relationships internally across the firm and with clients. You will have both hands on involvement in more complex accounts preparation and tax returns, reviewing work, meeting clients and developing in responsibility and level. You will work with partners and other managers closely and help develop the wider team, supporting juniors. You will be overseeing the delivery of accounting, taxation and other services, with a portfolio, moulded around the technical strengths and motivations of the right candidate. There will be a good element of the role advising on wide ranging accounting and added value projects in addition. Profile

You will be any of ACA, ACCA, or suitably qualified by experience, with a demonstrably strong background in the accountancy practice sector, developing your career to at least experienced 'Senior' levels or more likely, at Managerial levels as a Client Manager, Portfolio Manager, or similar. You will have skills providing the range of accounting and tax services to a mixed and varied client base of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships and will be looking for either the right full time career move, or seeking part time, 3 - 4 days a week.

Job Offer

Competitive salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
