GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY Manages and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Corporate Services Section; protects the bank's assets; and works to retain customers by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Oversees all collection and special credits functions; oversees the Business Manager Unit; and ensures the highest level of service to customers by directing the efforts of Corporate Services Section delegates. Ensures all major efforts under his/her responsibility are successfully executed efficiently and cost-effectively, achieving the highest quality outcome(s) for the Bank; mitigating risk(s) and minimizing negative impact(s).
Provides collection and OREO reports to Executive Management and the Board monthly; reviews delinquencies and collection results with Senior Loan Committee monthly; reviews and approves investor quality control reports. Reviews FastData for submission to Management and OCC.
Oversees the sale of OREO and other property; makes decisions regarding sales prices and strategies. Oversees UCC Code sales.
Oversees and is responsible for making decisions regarding filing foreclosures, filing law suits, confession of judgements, loss mitigation, loan workouts, RBD collection settlements, bankruptcy filings, reorganization plans and relief from stay motions, and repossessions and liquidations.
Directs and is responsible for the restructuring of commercial and other loans. Works with lending personnel and borrowers to better secure collateral and/or assets of the borrower. Responsible for collecting potential loans that are viable. Develops programs and manages strategies to reach performance goals. Provides guidance and oversight on highly complex or challenging loans.
Proactively builds and develops quality relationships with peers, subordinates, superiors, vendors, regulators, key contacts – including customers, prospective customers and centers of influence, and other associates and leaders within the community and the state.
Oversees the coordination of legal actions with attorneys. Testifies and gives depositions as necessary.
Remains familiar with federal and state regulations/laws governing areas of responsibility. As needed, develops and implements procedures to comply with federal and state regulations and laws.
Ensures all major efforts under his/her responsibility are successfully executed efficiently and cost-effectively, achieving the highest quality outcome(s) for the Bank; mitigating risk(s) and minimizing negative impact(s). Oversees and is responsible for bank's credit policy.
Ensures understanding of the impact of work area processes and outcomes across the organization, including upstream and downstream – not just at the highest level – through proactive communication, outreach and collaboration.
Works with Corporate Lending on large, complex commercial loans and with Specialty Lending on large, complex participation loans.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
