A leading Chinese bank has created a new Manager or Senior Manager role within their Financial Accounting team. This role is a good fit if you are looking to work in a fast paced but rewarding environment and if you are looking to further your career in financial reporting and control.

Your new role
Reporting to the Department Head and Team Head of Financial Accounting, your will be responsible for ensuring that accounting procedures are up to date and in compliance with IFRS standards, and that new or modified products flow through the general ledger and are reported accurately. You will be responsible for the overview of month end closing processes, expenses and accounts payable process and will review month end requirements and group reporting duties.

What you'll need to succeed
As the perfect candidate you will have 5 plus years of banking experience in financial reporting and control, with excellent IFRS knowledge. Ideally you will have a mix of experiences acquired from Local and/or Chinese banks. You must have excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
