Description

Responsibilities include:
* Setting up and agreeing budgets with conference organisers (CO's) for all entities.
* Attending pre-event budget meetings with COs and other departments to review progress
* Post event meetings with sector heads and CO's to review result, event tidy up and profit share calculations
* Ongoing development and creation of management reports for board pack
* Full management accounts pack for 5 entities, and holding company entities
* Analysis & reporting of both historic and forward data for senior management and board pack
* Control of the month end process including deferred revenue releases, prepayments, event accruals, overhead prepayments, overhead accruals & depreciation
* Implement month-end process improvements where necessary
* Reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules including:
o Accruals
o Payroll control accounts
o Prepayments
o Staff loan accounts
o Deferred revenue & prepaid event costs
o Fixed assets
o Long-term debt
* Manage the monthly payroll process and calculations including commissions, profit shares and ad hoc adjustments and preparation of all journals therein
* Analysis and response to all requests for information from the Office for National Statistics
* Liaising with auditors and collation of all data required for year-end audit

Profile

The successful candidate MUST HAVE'S:

- No less than a 2:1 from a highly reputable University

- No less than C's across A-Levels

- 3+ years in a similar role

- Fun, outgoing, loud personalities (Crucial)
