The Stock & Inventory Control Specialist is the key player in controlling & protecting the stocks by maintaining accurate stock inventory records. He/she is also responsible for calculating the landed cost of all sellable goods, ensuring inventory records accuracy, and controlling product damages & returns.


1. Inventory Transactions and Control:
 Control all inventory transactions (Adjustments, variances, assemblies) allow the posting into the system to ensure proper allocation and accuracy of the inventory
 Control the damaged goods report, assist and follow up the depletion procedure in order to ensure the completeness and existence of the inventory transactions
 Prepare purchasing report for operational purpose showing the comparative initial purchase price and related additional costs by the supplier in order for the report users to base their analysis (users: brand managers, supply chain and finance)
 Prepare the aging report and follow up on slow-moving items to book the necessary provision
 Manage the opening of new item classes, and related vendors to ensure the proper allocation in the accounting books.
 Communicate, support and guide the Logistics and commercial departments to ensure proper treatment of the inventory transactions
2. Stock Count Management:
 Manage periodical stock count in coordination with the commercial departments, and ensure clean inventory locations (on the system) in order to ensure completeness and existence of inventory operations and follow up on discrepancies
 Manage year-end stock count to ensure the completeness, existence, and cut-off of the inventory at each year end and follow up on discrepancies


3. Inventory Costing Management:
 Control and manage the inventory costing of goods to ensure the accuracy, valuation, and allocation
4. Team Management
 Manage, coach and motivate the team in order to lead them towards high performance.
 Set clear and smart objectives for the team.
 Manage the performance appraisal process in order to ensure the KPIs are being met and provide the Human Resources department with accurate feedback.
 Delegate tasks effectively to others and ensure that they have the needed skills to succeed in order to have an effective and efficient flow of activities.
 Work on developing and growing the team's expertise as part of the career development and succession planning.
