Assistant Management Accountant

This open and diverse consultancy business based in Central Bedford have a progressive 12 month fixed term contract for an Assistant Management Accountant who is ideally part qualified in ACCA or CIMA or an early stage studier. With parking on-site and good public transport links there are wanting someone immediately available or on a maximum of 1 weeks notice period and keen to take up a contract role

My client are based with the Consultancy sector and have a strong Bedford based presence with numerous locations around the country. This role follows the company ethos of collaborative working and is involved in business partnering and management information creation with Senior directors. With parking onside and a good Central location they have Strong public transport links also.

Description

Assistant Management Accountant duties and responsibilities;

• Management Accounts production for an division of the wider group
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting and presenting this information to directors and senior managers
• Journals, accruals and prepayments
• Board reporting
• discuss variances to budget and provide recommendations based ion financial analysis to resolve any issues
• Preparing Management information
• assist is year end accounting

Profile

Assistant management Accountant 12 month fixed term contract experience and characteristics required;

• Part qualified or studying ACCA or CIMA
• Strong excel and analysis capabilities to include pivot tables and vlookups as a minimum
• experience of accruals and prepayments
• experience within a management accounting function
• great communication to business partner with a range of senior management and staff
