About the role
Assisting group reporting acturary, planning the department's core activities
Production of monthly profit informationReporting and analysis of groups costs, ensuring controls are embedded within monthly and annual processesDraft Board Reports for monthly Financial performance results and operating report.Support towards strategic planning regarding the production of cost forecastsSupport the business by producing monthly management accounts and supporting MI.Support with strategic planning with forward-looking strategy planning exercises, undertaking modelling, reviews and providing challenge where appropriate.
Profile
About you
Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA or equivalent
Up-to-date knowledge of the statutory and regulatory framework for reporting including knowledge of regulations and their practical implementation.Knowledge of accounting analysis systemsStrong communication, people management and developmental skills. (direct management is not required)Ability and motivation to deliver tasks under pressure and tight deadlines with good attention to detail.Ability to use own initiative and think 'outside the box', identifying inefficienciesStrong knowledge of Excel and Word;
Job Offer
£40000 - £45000 + great benefits
