Our client, an exciting FS company, is looking for a senior risk and controls analyst to join their operations team on a six month fixed term contract. This is an important role as you will be required to monitor key processes, identify gaps and contribute to the design of new controls, across all activities performed by our platform operations teams.

In this role you'll thrive on the requirement to continually be learning, in an environment where that knowledge will be put to practical and satisfying use.

In this role, you'll use a project mindset and approach to deliver improvement in our core business processes.

We are looking for someone to support a control-aware culture with training and other initiatives to help the business deliver great client outcomes. Inspiring should be your middle name as you will be looking to engage others in our vision and will always aiming for excellence.

To be successful in this role, you'll be skilled at:

• turning technical requirements into business speak
• effective risk event management
• building and maintaining effective relationships across the business and in particular risk and control owners
• managing an ongoing programme of work and getting stuff done
• delivering quality outputs for your business in a timely way that promotes action and better outcomes
• analysis and solution development

You'll have knowledge of:

• providing day to day support to the business on risk, assurance and compliance matters
• processes and controls, including design of effective control suites and validating deployment into a fast growing and dynamic platform business
• how to be time and resource effective in delivering core requirements in a busy environment
• understanding why risk, assurance and compliance matters to businesses and clients
