Michael Page are proud to be partnered with a large international business based in Wakefield who are looking for a Finance Business Partner.
Client Details
Our client operate across Europe and the US and are an international leader in their field, operating for over 30 years. They are highly acquisitive and consistently diversifying into new areas of their market, so experiencing lots of growth and as such have had an internal promotion which has created this role.
Description
They are looking for a Finance Business Partner to manage 4 sites across the UK. Primarily based in West Yorkshire there will be travel to other sites in the North of England as well as occasional travel to the South.
Responsibilities will include;
Partnering with the business to provide relevant insights into business performance
Supporting effective financial planning and analysis
Providing business expertise into accounting/financial control processes, including support for and interaction with the Front Office
Conducting business performance analysis to identify, investigate and understand operational business unit results (e.g. margins, costs, profitability by client) and recommend improvement opportunities
Preparing and challenging budgets and forecasts in coordination with Operations and Commercial teams, and recommend and help implement actions to bring performance back to budget if performance deviates
Providing ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues (e.g. develop business cases for new business opportunities)
Profile
To be successful in this role you will be a Qualified Accountant with experience in a similar role, working closely with senior stakeholders at Board level and with a track record of making improvements and achieving stretch targets in a previous role.
You will be a confident communicator who can work with non-finance counterparts to aid in their understanding of financial management and business development.
