Financial Controller - Multi-Billion Asset Management Firm (PE focused)

As Financial Controller, day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Monitor and improve the soundness of financial control policies and procedures
• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting, FP&A, and tax matters, including checking and reviewing the qualify of data/proposals and ensure the timely submission of reports and filings
• Co-ordinate/hands-on handling the preparation of consolidated management reports, budgeting, forecast and proactively provide insightful advise to senior management
• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the smooth conduction of financial investigation, internal audit, M&A and banking license applications
• Collaborate with the finance teams in mainland China headquarter, providing timely updates and advisory on request basis
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reports for Management's review

Qualifications of ideal candidates:

• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, economics or its equivalent
• Holder of CPA or equivalent accounting destinations is a must
• minimum 8 years in the financial services industry, with 5+ solid years in corporate financial management, cost & risk control and financial analysis
• Prior experience in an established, PRC-based firm is a big advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Mandarin and English

• Rich experience in advising tax matters and cross-border finance projects across PE investment, FX, M&A and in handling cross-border payment processing
