Senior Analyst, Deal Collaboration Analyst - German Location: Ballincollig, Cork, Ireland. **12 month contract** Role Objective: The Deal Collaboration Team (DCT) is a dynamic team of analysts, skilled and knowledgeable in a variety of areas including deal operations, revenue recognition and commercial contract structure. As a DCT Analyst you will engage with our Sales teams as a point of contact to support highly negotiated, unique or strategic software contracts (Enterprise Level Agreements) from inception of a sales opportunity to booking. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new collaborative team unit. Responsibilities : • Manage a portfolio of assigned sales opportunities including competing demands, conflicts and sensitive situations. • Trusted partner and advisor to the Sales teams in relation to those assigned sales opportunities • Participate in customer communications & negotiations to deliver optimal solutions and nurture the customer relationship. • Review and Approval of pricing quotes to maximize commercial value of the deal to VMware while ensuring compliance with internal policies • Review of customer's Software Install Base • Draft Legal documents related to ELA partnering with Legal Dept as appropriate • Ability to forecast revenue treatment of opportunities and ensure compliance with revenue policy • Managing the opportunity through the order booking process • Provide coaching and training to empower the sales teams in relation to deal and contract matters, including business terms and conditions, deal quality, revenue recognition and commercial strategies. • Deliver information and guidance on metrics, tools and resources, opportunities for customer service improvements and process timelines for deals. • Collaborate with other DCT team members and the Sales team to cultivate solutions and optionality, in harmony with VMware goals & objectives. Language Requirements: •German essential •Business level English Essential Requirements: • Experience working on commercial contract negotiations in one of the following areas; deal operations, software/hardware/IT sales, professional services, bids and tenders, procurement, commercial law, contract management or equivalent area. • Agile and adept problem solving skills • Good judgement and influencing skills **Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract**
