This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join a rapidly expanding and award-winning firm in St Albans.

Whilst this business is growing by over 30% year on year, it still retains the feel of an entrepreneurial boutique, which candidates from a corporate background find very refreshing.

Employing over 35 Advisers, this independent business has access to a wide range of lenders, including exclusive products, and an enviable panel of protection providers.

You will be working in the specialist New Build team, which is very well-connected with a wide range of high profile house builders in the surrounding regions. As such, this will be a very busy and exciting role, where you will display the ability to generate mortgage offers within tight timescales.

New Build, or Whole of Market, experience would certainly be advantageous, however our client will certainly consider enthusiastic candidates from banks or building societies who are motivated to earn high levels of commission.

As expected, you must be CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), and be able to demonstrate well-honed relationship building and negotiation skills. Just as importantly, you must be used to working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task.

Unlike many other New Build mortgage broking roles, there is minimal weekend working; you will be expected to work circa 1 Saturday or Sunday a month, which will result in a day off in lieu during the working week. However, in addition, there may be some new build 'launches’ to attend and therefore we are looking for someone who is flexible with their time. We understand that evening work is also very minimal.

You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary of up to £35K, plus a car allowance and a very generous commission scheme. Given the growth of this company, it offers attractive career development opportunities for the ambitious.
