In joining the Financial Reporting team within the Insurance Finance area as an Assistant Finance Manager you'd have a role that matters by assisting to produce robust statutory reporting and financial analysis.

In addition you'll be working in partnership with other finance areas to understand current trends and impacts and providing data driven insight which will ensure compliant reporting and allow operational decision-making.

Are you a qualified accountant? If the answer is yes, this role is an opportunity to join our Financial Reporting team.

Most importantly, you'll need strong statutory reporting skills and be used to producing complex sets of accounts, manipulating large amounts of data and providing relevant insight. Good interpersonal skills, and ability to present and be challenged by senior stakeholders is important.

Typically, you'll be involved in the following:

* Month end close and associated reporting
* Production of key monthly and annual reports (statutory accounts and regulatory reporting)
* Operating and enhancing financial controls (including balance sheet reconciliations)
* Supporting the delivery of small scale projects and continuous improvements
