My client, a Global Bank is looking to add a Regulatory Reporting Analyst into their team. This is an initial 6 months contract but it is extendable to 12 months based on personal performance and there are also chances of conversion.
Primary Job Scope
To check and ensure that the following reports are accurately prepared and submitted on timely basis.
Ad-hoc projects
Main Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the required monthly schedules and corporate tax computation.

All department heads and staff
Academic Qualifications
Key Technical Skills/ Knowledge
Business Experience required: Minimum 5 years working experience
Technical skills: Excel, various systems knowledge, various business and product knowledge.

Primary Job Scope

- Account Payable related
- Monthly Schedules
- SGD nostro reconciliation
Ad-hoc projects
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare/review reports/returns for regulatory bodies in accordance with instructions; accurately and timely. Liaise with operations/front offices and IT to obtain the relevant information, when necessary.
- Prepare/Review the daily/monthly/quarterly & yearly local compliance reports. Liaise with other departments when necessary to ensure compliance with guidelines and limits from the monetary authorities.
- Review surveys and adhoc reports required by local authority.
- Carry out internal control procedures such as :
- Prepare / Review the balance sheet schedules on monthly basis and take initiative to investigate the unusual and long outstanding items.
- Review and clear suspense accounts daily
- Check and review all the monthly schedules such as staff corporate cards, etc
- Check and review accounts payables
- Maintenance of mapping tables between GL and the respective systems and with the local FIS systems.

- Provide specifications to internal IT personnel to automate/update new reports requirements arising from changes in accounting standards, regulatory rules and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of the required monthly schedules and corporate tax computation.

Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Accounting or minimum GCE 'A' level with accounting qualification
- Diploma in Banking & Finance
Key Technical Skills/ Knowledge
Business Experience required: Minimum 5 years working experience
Technical skills: Excel, various systems knowledge, various business and product knowledge.
