My client, a Global Bank is looking to add a Finance Manager for Regulatory Reporting into their team. This is an initial 6 months contract with chances of renewal or conversion.


This function is primarily responsible for financial reporting, regulatory reporting, tax compliance, analysis on various system reconciliations etc.

This role will include delivering quality and timely regulatory reporting and Head Office reporting, ensuring data integrity through the various system reconciliations and assisting on the implementation of new regulatory requirements.

As a Regulatory Reporting Manager, the individual will lead the preparation, review (with Manager and CFO) and submission of MAS regulatory returns, and supporting project(s) to on-board regulatory submissions into the Bank's regulatory reporting tool.

Job Description
  • Responsible for the preparation, review and submission of regulatory returns to MAS.
  • Responsible for preparation of annual and other ad-hoc surveys and queries from MAS.
  • Responsible for reviewing and interpreting new MAS regulations which impact regulatory reporting.
  • Assisting the Head of Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting on external and internal audit in the area of regulatory reporting.
  • Assisting Head of Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting on reviewing Head Office reporting.
  • Responsible for regulatory project enhancements related to new regulatory requirements, including performing UAT testing.
  • Conduct financial data analysis and testing associated with regulatory reporting projects and process improvements.
  • Responsible for system changes in relation to defects and change requests for Singapore.

  • Bachelor degree or higher; Professional Financial Accreditation (CFA, CA/CPA etc.)
  • 8+ years of experience in banking/financial industry, preferably with an understanding of Wealth Management products and drivers
  • Knowledge of APAC regulatory requirements, particularly MAS requirements for Banks.
  • Functional knowledge / experience of Finance processes and controls.
  • Experience in delivering process improvements across Finance.
  • Knowledge of accounting policies / standards
  • Advanced MS-Office skills i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge / experience with macros is an asset

  • Knowledge of banking supervision laws and regulations.
  • Avaloq (Private Banking System tool)
  • A continuous improvement mindset and ability to look at issues through a process enhancement lens.
