Hedge Fund Accounting & Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Hedge Fund Account Manager (Accounting & Operations focused) for our client. They are one of the world's biggest Fund Administration providers, with 30+ offices across the globe. Their services include the evaluation of Fund Documents from an operational perspective, valuation of the fund, calculation of Net Asset Value and share registry services.

To align with the company's vision, this individual need to have solid Hedge fund knowledge and an ambition to lead and grow the hedge fund team to twice its current size. Daily job duties include:

• Manage at least one team of 6, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of fund administration (including share registry dealing orders) services
• Provide training and guidance to new incumbents as well as perform regular review of client service, monitor NAVs, reconciliation and the accurate preparation of documents by the team
• Perform and supervise AML checks for clients as well as answer client enquiries
• manage and implement FATCA and CRS programmes in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain sound communication with external auditors and offshore partners, prime brokers with the aim of maintaining the funds' satisfactory performance
• Patriciate in the launch of new vehicles, products while maintaining an efficient operational flow
• assist senior management teams and other departments in ad hoc projects when needed

The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 8 years in fund administration industry, of which 3 years in managerial capacity
• Holder of CPA or equivalent qualifications
• Strong command of English is a must, with proficient Mandarin being an advantage
• Solid knowledge in hedge fund accounting is a must
• knowledge of transfer agency, FATCA and CRS are definite advantages, as well as Prior experience in PFS-Paxus
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
