The Three CIO IT team comprises of four teams IT Delivery, responsible for the end to end programme management of technology projects IT Solution Architects, responsible for shaping the technical scope for new initiatives, aligning to the technical strategic fit within Three. IT Business Analyst, responsible for deriving approved business requirements that feed into the development-deployment lifecycle for new Three initiatives. IT Business Intelligence Analyst, responsible for designing and developing on Three reporting platforms, to enable business reporting. The IT graduate will get the opportunity to take on tasks through to completion, in the IT Delivery, Business Analysis or Business Intelligence team - depending on their field of expertise and career focus. There will also be an opportunity to get an insight into the Solution Architect team role, through observation e.g. attendance at technical governance and design sessions. What else it involves Our IT graduate will get the opportunity to rotate across 3 areas, your rotation in IT Delivery will allow you the opportunity to support a team of programme manager's delivering business as usual changes across all areas of the Three Ireland business. You will gain exposure and understanding of the Definition of Programme Roles & Responsibilities of the Programme Team. You will be able to observe how we define and track High Level and Low Level Programme Project Plans as well as capture and drive closure of Programme Risks, Issues, Actions, Decisions, by driving all status reporting across all key programmes, and communicating status up to the senior management team and other governing bodies A second rotation will be within the Business Analysis team, which will enable you to work with IT to determine the scope of new requests, working then with company stakeholders to assess and document requirements. From this you will gain practical analyst lead experience in which analysis approaches to apply and how to effectively engage and communicate with teams e.g. when to run a white-boarding or brainstorming sessions. You will learn how requirements analysis approaches are used in various project development methodologies, such as agile or waterfall. You will also gain the ability to apply iterative requirements processes, document output and version control, approval management processes as well as work with Three IT managed service providers to baseline and clarify the requirements, tracing them to the high level design documents and test cases. A third rotation will be within our Business Intelligence team - where our IT Graduate will gain an understanding as well as execution of reporting, report development- ad hoc and scheduled, End users support/training in BI tools, Review and enhance data quality process, ETL development, BI Tool maintenance and support Review and police internal data governance processes The skills we're looking for Current third level student or recent graduate within two years of graduating. An achieved or expected 2:1 degree in a computer science area Self-motivated individual with desire to be the best. Keen interest in career within Technology. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well within teams and independently. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Innovative and results driven. Desirable skills or knowledge Awareness of industry best practises or standards that Telecom operators adhere to e.g. TM Forum Framework, Comreg compliancy, GDPR Awareness of the role of BSS, OSS systems in Telecom operators Familiar with or have practical experience of various tools for project management and process mapping e.g. MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PPT Awareness or have practical experience of analysis and project methodologies used in project scoping and development such as Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, UML, BPMN, Agile, Use Case Basic SQL, RDBMS knowledge
