Competencies & Responsibilities: Ensure all sales invoices are processed on a daily basis. Ensure all Dunnes, B.WG. and  Musgrave invoices are processed via EDI Assist in collecting payments from customers Allocate cash to customer's accounts accurately and promptly Prepare and process bank lodgments. Post bank transactions and reconcile bank statements Reconciling customer accounts on a regular basis File invoices on a daily basis. Ensure that a daily sales report is sent to Ulster Bank and that this report is logged onto S.L.C to be checked against the Control Account. Ensure that S.L.C, cash receipts and Ulster Bank Cash Flow and Intact agree at month end Setup customer accounts Deal with customer queries Assist with month end procedures Assist other accounts personnel, including accounts payable, when required   Administration Requirements: Relate well with both internal and external customers and to work as part of a    small team. Maintain a good telephone manner. Work in a multi task environment and act in a cover capacity as required. Work on own initiative and develop the best work practices for duties assigned. Understand accounting principles and reconciliations. Work to a high degree of accuracy within strict deadlines. Knowledge of PC packages, i.e. Word, Excel etc.   Deputies: During periods of absence you are required to ensure that your colleagues can effectively conduct key tasks to ensure business operations are maintained as usual.
