Private Equity; Investment Monitoring Fund Finance | ACA
A well-known name in private equity secondaries are looking for a newly qualified ACA to join their fund finance and investment monitoring team.
The firm are based in Mayfair and are a highly respected name in private equity, having helped develop the secondaries market in the 90's. They have offices in New York and Hong Kong and backing from hundreds of the world's leading institutional investors. They closed their 7th fund at $7bn and are well underway raising funds for their next one.
This business is looking for an individual who wants to leverage off their ACA in a first move out of practice which encompasses more than just financial reporting.
The role itself covers: working with the deal and execution teams on fund exposure analysis, delivering weekly reporting packs directly to senior management, supporting the investor relations team in producing materials on the funds, monitoring investment valuations provided by underlying investment managers and other ad hoc work as required.
The successful applicant will have an ACA background with previous exposure to fund management clients, ideally private equity, hedge funds or real estate. Pristine academics are helpful but not essential, you must though have a natural interest in this area.
An opportunity like this, where an ACA can make a move into a role which is more analytical and forward looking, is rare and represents an excellent first move out of practice - especially if you are looking to build a career in Private Equity.
