Join our Tax Advisory team and play a pivotal role supporting our dynamic business by providing taxation support to all areas of the group's operations.
This is a pure advisory role which will see you manage complex and diverse tax issues for businesses including Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, M&A, Leasing and Asset Management. This outstanding career opportunity will allow you to be the lead contact for the business units which you support, managing the tax input throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Advising business units on tax issues relating to new transactions and products will be a key responsibility, along with oversight of legal documentation. You will also have an opportunity to lead tax workstreams of internal projects, such as changes in legislation, consultations, corporate restructuring and simplifications, thin capitalisation and recapitalisations.
With professional experience as a tax lawyer or qualified tax professional you will have strong UK tax technical expertise of supporting relevant business areas, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will naturally interact effectively with all levels of staff across the Finance, Treasury and Regulatory teams as well as the businesses, and will be able to clearly demonstrate a commercial mindset.
If you are looking for the opportunity to deal with a range of tax technical issues in a dynamic, collaborative environment, please apply now.
This is a contract position for an initial period of 3-6 months, with the possibility of reverting to a Permanent position.
