Key Responsibilities:

Provide timely and accurate fund accounting services. Specifically:

  • Prepare fund valuation, NAV calculation and unit pricing
  • Process trades and settlements
  • Process corporate action
  • Reconciliations of cash and positions to the custodian
  • Prepare instructions and general liquidity management
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Fund performance analysis
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Review and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiencies
  • Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Review and improve processes and procedures and ensure they are adequately documented
  • Working with Seniors and Team leaders manage the team that provides the above services

Manage fund accounting operation and the team

  • Provide strong leadership
  • Maintain strong, consultative relationship with key clients
  • Develop and maintain efficient processes
  • Provide technical guidance to team members
  • Ensure all work is adequately reviewed prior to issuance
  • Plan and effectively allocate client assignments amongst team members
  • Monitor and track services delivery against those plans
  • Conduct team meetings and one on ones on a regular basis
  • Provide training

Projects and other

  • Manage and lead projects to improve processes and procedures
  • Satisfy the requests/ requirements from Auditors and clients
  • Support new business, inbound transitions and outbound transitions
  • Provide the means of production to the Tax Manager and the Audit Manager
  • Project manage the year end and half year reporting cycles
  • Support risk and compliance initiatives
  • Support new business initiatives

Internal Relationships: Country Manager, Singapore.

External Relationships: Investors, fund managers, custodians, trustees and auditors.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in private equity or hedge fund administration or a similar role
  • CPA / CA qualified
  • Good planning skills
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Good working knowledge / experience using Paxus preferred
