GCG Secured Risk Manager Singapore

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Secured Risk Management Team and managing a large Secured Loan Portfolio, with emphasis on Consumer Mortgage Loan Portfolio and Auto Loan Portfolio (liquidating)
Develop and maintain close working relationship with all business partners as mentioned above
Establish and revise Credit Policies in line with Global Standards, Business Strategy and Risk Appetite Framework and manage risk and rewards of the Secured Loans portfolio
Work closely with Business and Product Managers to monitor portfolio benchmarks and through-the-door quality of loans
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage emerging risks arising from the environment and portfolio
Direct responsibility of Secured Loan Risk Stress Tests (CCAR, IWST), Management Reporting and MIS, including regulatory related requirements
Close working relationship with Secured Credit Initiation and Collections
Review and decision secured loan applications that need Risk Management exception approval
Liaise with Technology team for Secured Loans system related matters
Lead secured loans stress test; liaise and work together with Model Risk Manager and ICAAP & Basel Project Manager
Ensure compliance to all policies and standards and ensure full audit readiness at all times

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a college degree holder with at least 15 years of work experience with at least 7 years of relevant experience in Risk Management and/or Credit Operations function and/or Mortgages Business Management role. Experience in Secured Product Risk Management will be an added value
Ability to interact with Board of Director, Risk Management Committee, and Senior Management, including across franchise
Excellent communication skill (verbal & written), experience in leading a team with multiple functions and ability to work well with counterparts in different areas of organization
Solid understanding of secured loans market/industry, statistical concepts and data analysis
A solid MS Excel skill is a must and familiarity on SAS programming is preferred
