Position Purpose

To review (act as back up for his manager) financial and regulatory reports.


- Review daily liquid capital computation for related SFC regulated entity
- Review month end FRR for related SFC regulated entity
- Review journals, bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation and monthly financial accounts and perform related controls for investment banking group
- Review monthly and quarterly controls as specified in control plan for investment banking group
- Coordinate financial accounts for investment banking group with external auditors and tax representatives
- Participate in project and other ad-hoc assignments
- Coordinate with business managers on the income allocation & expense recharge
- Coordinate with tax department on all tax risk issues like corporation tax, transfer pricing & tax optimization
- Coordinate with project team on the new product/market & accounting scheme to facilitate local regulatory & management reporting requirement
- Coordinate with India outsourcing team on monthly head office IAS Reports
- Coordinate with management reporting team on monthly business performance reports

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

- Accounting Diploma / degree or equivalent
- Qualified accountant or equivalent
- Some IAS / IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge on SFC regulatory reporting
- Knowledge on front to back operation process
- Control mind-set
- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a deadline intensive environment and work under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills
