Financial Controller Specific responsibilities will include: Leadership & Team management Demonstrate leadership qualities among the Finance team and the rest of the organization Build on close working relationships with senior finance management in material with multiple subsidiaries Support a high performance culture and develop adequate team expertise across the team Group Accounting, Financial Reporting & Business Support Production of financial reports in accordance with IFRS in association Preparation annual statutory accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS according to deadlines Advise and provide reporting and accounting to obtain reporting outcomes Building a strong relationship with other entities within the group, to ensure reporting requirements are coordinated and deadlines achieved Maintain General Ledger and the Group Chart of Accounts Proactively identify of any accounting issues that could impact the Group Coordination with all intercompany and fulfill with accounting requirements Manage balance sheet reconciliation and other controls within the Finance function Update with improvements to existing processes to add value to reporting output Management Reporting Monthly manage accounts processes including contributions to reduction in monthly close times as part of fast close Continuously improve the monthly close process and related outputs, working with Business Accounting teams Key Skills & Experience: Qualified Big 4 accountant with 5 or more years of experience, with recognitions such as honors degree, operating in financial services and preferably with experience of a multinational environment IFRS financial accounting experience is required and auspicious Required experience at managing delivery of internal Financial MI / Management Accounts Prove experience of developing and implementing reporting and operating process improvements in a Finance environment Solid experience of managing teams of different spheres Experience of a plc environment and Oracle financial systems would all be profitable Essential skills: A motivational leader and team builder with initiative on management Analytical and technical skills with perspicacity Ability to take initiative and set goals Prominent communication skills to identity key issues and ability to solve them Flexibility and enthusiastic attitude enough to work in an entrepreneurial, dynamic and changing environment Encouraging and confident, with a professional manner to work with senior stakeholders Privacy Policy By applying for this role not only will your application be considered for this position but your details will be stored in our database and may be considered for similar future positions that may arise.
