Entry level Finance Assistant Dublin Do you have experience with Irish Tax Returns? - Are you a recent graduate? Well we have the job for you! My client based in Dublin city requires an entry-level financial position: The main function of this role is to assist on various financial and administrative duties. Your goal will be to ensure that the Senior Accountant, Production Accountant and Office Manager are supported in their functions. Within this role you will handle sensitive and highly confidential information. This information must be kept private, it must not be disclosed and held securely only by you. Requirements This role requires a lot of flexibility and common-sense and the ability to work within a busy studio environment. Excellent people skills are a must and a collaborative 'can-do' attitude is essential. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount. Company records must be kept correctly filed and stored. DUTIES Management of day-to day AP and banking process within the company Provide administrative support to the Senior accountant, Cost accountant and Finance Payroll Associate. Answering the finance hunt group phone line, taking messages, screening calls and managing the main studio front door Processing and obtaining signatures for expenses documentation together with chasing any missing receipts with credit-card holders Filing of all finance department paperwork including but not limited to: invoices, payroll reports, VAT records etc. From time to time you will need to manage company paperwork that requires signatures from the directors. Ensure this is accurately obtained and completed and then ensure scanned copies are filed and the paperwork is returned to auditors, solicitors etc) in a timely fashion Financial analysis on an a hoc basis as required Manage incoming finance post and distribute to appropriate recipients (invoices to accountant, for example). Keep a current distribution list Documenting the finance functions as requested by the Senior Accountant and keeping an updated Finance Bible, which can be used for temporary staff standing in to cover holidays, sick etc. You must be able to problem solve, be self-motivated - able to work effectively in demanding circumstances - be proactive in letting managers know if you cannot achieve turnaround on requests within appropriate time frame. Experience and Qualification 1-2 year's experience in a busy high-volume environment Should be either pursuing or completed your Accounts Technician qualification Must be flexible to meet Ad Hoc requirements Should be a team player and willing to work on your own initiative Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential Experience with Irish Tax Returns is a must Apply today if you have the skills for this role
