Founded in 1972, Cornmarket is now one of Ireland's largest investment and insurance brokers. With 390 staff nationwide and support offices in Dublin, Cork & Belfast, we are focused on providing expert impartial financial advice to Ireland's Public Sector. We have an opening on our Health Insurance team for a Health Sales Advisor on a six month fixed term contract as we enter an extreamly busy period. Duties of the Role: Generating sales of Health insurance policies through Cornmarket. Meeting targets for call activity by converting call enquires into quotations.  These quotations are then nurtured and converted into policies.  Meeting lead/renewal date capture targets for other departments in Cornmarket by asking the appropriate questions.  Interacting with all clients in a friendly, professional and timely manner in line with Cornmarket's Customer First approach when dealing with clients.  Any queries or issues that arise from customers are dealt with swiftly and in line with Cornmarket's agreed practices and procedures.   To work as part of the Health Department team and be flexible and adaptable to the department's requirements.  The advisor will also be adaptable to the health insurance market during the markets peaks and troughs. Skills/Experience Required for the role: Excellent and adaptable communication skills to explain complex information to clients. One year previous experience of working in a customer focused or target driven environment is essential. Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed within the sales environment. Ability to work to deadlines and targets that are set out by the Team Leader/Assistant Team Leader.   High level of attention to detail and high data accuracy. Previous experience working in a sales environment is a requirement.  Previous experience working in a call centre is desirable.   Excellent PC Skills Behaviouraly Competencies Required for the role: You must have a positive attitude to responsibilities that are assigned to them. Ability to work as a member of a team You must be flexible and adaptable and have a strong can do attitude. This role is a ‘controlled function' as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011.  Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
