A Progressive Accounting opportunity based in Central Kent working for a well established FMCG organisation.

Client Details

A forward thinking, dynamic organisation who are well placed in their industry sector to expand further.

Description

You will be fully trained to perform different aspects on management accounting and Business analysis functions. This would include performing every month:

  • Sector profitability analysis
  • Customer profitability analysis
  • Gross margin Analysis by Customers
  • Analysis of overhead expenses
  • Preparing Board meeting Slides
  • Other Ad-Hoc Business Analysis projects that may be undertaken from time to time.

    • Treasury function would include,

  • Assisting in management of a large banking facility in conjunction with other team members, including daily drawdown.
  • Cash Flow forecasting and Planning
  • Using banking Platform to pay Trade Finance Bills and, adhering to schedule.
  • Maintaining second level relationship with Banks
  • Assisting Finance director in managing foreign currency exposure and related reporting.
  • Book /swap use derivatives for foreign exchange (mainly Dollars)

    • Profile

  • A Graduate looking to progress within an Accounting role.
  • A degree within a finance related subject, a first is preferable. Looking to further a CAAB (ACCA /CIMA /ICAEW) qualification
  • Having worked in a Manufacturing based company would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Excellent overall IT experience in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook and experience in using ERP system would be desirable
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation
  • Can work on own initiative and as part of a team
