Position: Assistant Compliance Advisor -S009369 Salary: €40-45K DOE (Pension contribution, 50% VHI cover, gym onsite) Location: Dublin This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing compliance and risk service within an established and reputable company. The role will provide a central point of contact for Compliance Officers as well as a central point to channel and assist in the coordination of various compliance support. A key element of the role will be providing a professional and timely service which supports Compliance Officers in implementing and delivering compliance plans, statements and policies. Responsibilities Provide on-going advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance matters and support the implementation of an appropriate compliance programme. Liaising with Regulators, SME's and other key stakeholders on emerging compliance issues Maintain appropriate documentation Keep abreast of compliance developments. This may/will include: Drafting compliance plans Drafting compliance audit working papers Drafting guidance notes Drafting compliance briefing documents Publishing regular compliance updates Providing and moderating compliance working groups Develop and review compliance guidance, procedures and other relevant documentation for review by the Compliance Advisor. Engage with subscribing internal stakeholders to ascertain their current and future support needs; collating this feedback and reporting it to the Compliance Advisor. Comply with all lawful and reasonable requests and directions of the Compliance Advisor and Head of Risk and Compliance. Engage in on-going professional development to maintain and enhance competencies necessary to perform the role and also to maintain any professional designations (if applicable). Participate, help coordinate and facilitate at events and related promotional events Experience required: A recognised compliance qualification or working towards a compliance qualification or recognised equivalent is essential. Experience in financial services is a distinct advantage Proven track record of writing high quality guidance documentation or an audience of compliance professionals is desirable Excellent communication skills and attention to detail is required. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team. Ability to maintain productive relationships with external and internal stakeholders Ability to deliver work in adherence to strict deadlines. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
