Job Title:                           Cash Management & Forecasting Accountant - International (EMEA/APAC) -  temporary contract (c. 6 months) Reports to:                        Senior Manager - International Accounting Based in:                           Clonakilty, Co. Cork.   The successful candidate will be part of a busy Accounting team, specifically supporting the Business in the areas of Cash Management and Forecasting. This role will cover responsibility for the International Region (EMEA/APAC), with close reporting links to US Corporate Head Office.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable and hardworking, good with numbers and excellent attention to detail. Excellent opportunity to tailor and develop the role.   Qualifications:  The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, with a minimum of 3+ years post qualification experience in a multinational environment.     Responsibilities: 1.                Cash management and cash flow forecasting & reporting across the International Region. (EMEA/APAC) 2.                Manage liquidity, FX, and treasury support 3.                Coordinate execution of repatriation plans 4.                Reviewing & processing of cash pooling activities, including Balance Sheet Reconciliation 5.                Inter-Company analysis and settlement for the International Group, including associated accounting entries 6.                Liaising closely with various Teams to understand cash requirements - Capex, Cost of Sales, Corporate Tax 7.                Manage any necessary Treasury reporting to Corporate Head Office  8.                Creating and updating procedures and workflow documentation as required, including proactively seeking ways to improve current processes.   Candidate Profile: 1.      Minimum 3+ years post qualification experience in a similar multinational company is essential. 2.      Good skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. Strong team player with good communication skills, who can interact with other departments and with Management. Excellent attention to detail. Self-starter able to work pro-actively. Discreet and trustworthy - respecting the confidentiality of the role. Adaptability, good initiative, efficiency, responsible and dependable.   Relationships: The candidate will work with the following groups in the course of the role:-   1.                Corporate Controller & Treasurer 2.                Senior Manager - International Accounting 3.                Global Accounts Payable Manager 4.                Wider Finance Team. 5.                Banks 6.                Internal and external auditors.         Aptitudes: 1.                Numerically and analytically literate 2.                Computer literate - good excel skills, general accounting software, email. 3.                Good accounting aptitudes and knowledge 4.                Desirable knowledge of banking platforms 5.                Ability to take ownership of the role, self-starter       We're not a one-dimensional place to work.
