Job Title:                         Director of Finance International - permanent contract Reports to:                      Corporate Controller Based in:                         Clonakilty, Co. Cork.   Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller (Atlanta), the Director of Finance will be a key member of the Global Finance team. Responsibilities will include the running of the International Finance function which is based in Clonakilty. Leading a team of 35 professionals, the business functions  include Accounting (Europe and Asia), Global Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (Europe and Asia) and Asia payroll.   Qualifications:  The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience.     Responsibilities: 1.                Ensure financial integrity of organisation through GAAP, IFRS and SOX compliance and regular internal and external auditing of financial processes 2.                Responsible for consolidating USGAAP reporting from all operating entities in Europe and Asia for month-end financials identifying and explaining budget to actual variances. 3.                Cash management for the Europe and Asia region including reporting of weekly cashflow forecasts.  4.                Ad hoc projects that ensure the efficient and effective running of the business 5.                Monthly balance sheets sign off. 6.                Working with Director of Tax and Compliance in the maintenance of financial processes, controls and compliance with Corporate and Sarbanes and Oxley requirements. Candidate Profile: 1.                Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with a relevant degree an advantage. 2.                8+ years post qualification experience in a similar multi-national company is essential. 3.                Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, particularly at month end. 4.                Strong team player with good communication skills, who can interact with other departments and with management. 5.                Excellent attention to detail. 6.                Self-starter able to work pro-actively. 7.                Discreet and trustworthy - respecting the confidentiality of the role. 8.                Adaptability, good initiative, efficiency, responsible and dependable.   Relationships: The candidate will work with the following groups in the course of the role:-   1.                Senior Management. 2.                Technical team. 3.                Marketing team. 4.                Sales representatives. 5.                Suppliers 6.                Banks. 7.                Internal and external auditors.       Aptitudes: 1.                Numerically and analytically literate 2.                Computer literate - good excel skills, general accounting software, email. 3.                Good accounting aptitudes and knowledge. 4.                Ability to take ownership of the role     We're not a one-dimensional place to work.
