This role will incorporate elements of BAU work as well as Brexit related processes, including preparation of regulatory returns for UK Legal Entities, statutory accounts and internal reconciliations and reporting.
Support for the new legal entity project will consist of review and adoption of relevant regulation and system testing of the reg reporting platform for new returns. There will also be the mapping out and agreeing the new internal hierarchy within in the business, as well as closing the existing entity general ledger.
Business as usual task will include completion of regulatory returns and financial reporting for existing legal entities. Also be expected to assist on new business initiatives and ad hoc queries.
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIME or equivalent. Experience of a banking environment and any regulatory reporting would also be beneficial.
This project is expected to be long term with the initial contract lasting 1 year.
