£10,500 - £13,500 + c£2500 bonus potential (£20-25k + 5k bonus - pro rata to reflect part time hours)

We are currently recruiting for a switched-on Credit Controller with bags of enthusiasm and initiative to join a Stockport based technology company. Working alongside the Finance Manager in a small team, the role will focus on debt collection but will also include some general accounting duties such as payment processing and assisting with banking.

Suitable candidates will ideally have 12 months to 2 years+ relevant experience in a credit control and any further background in a financial role would be useful. In addition, you will be a confident MS Excel user, demonstrating strong numerical and analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. Joining a friendly, supportive finance team as part of an expanding and stable business, you’ll also need to be confident, outgoing and flexible in your approach.

Job Description

Key duties of the role will include:

· Contacting customers, ensuring debts are chased and collected in line with agreed payment terms

· Keeping accurate records of company payments / promises to pay

· General finance duties such as payment processing, preparing banking, assisting with the monthly invoice run

· Liaising with credit / collections agencies, liquidators and solicitors as required

Person Specification

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate:

· Some experience in an accounts / credit control position

· Knowledge of Excel and Sage

· Strong Customer Service skills

· Ability to work to SLAs

In return, the company is offering a starting salary of up to £13,500 + bonus. 20 hours per week with flexibility to suit your circumstances.
