Highly innovative, multi award winning PLC operating within the FMCG manufacturing industry have a requirement for a highly commercially astute qualified finance professional. Working within a diverse, extremely fast-paced multifaceted manufacturing environment you will play a key role in bridging the operational and finance teams.

You will operate in a highly business facing capacity, ultimately responsible for partnering with the operational leadership teams to drive profitability, reduce and control costs, protect margins, understanding levers of success and risk and drive optimum performance.

You role will be extremely broad and varied and will include an enjoyable balance of routine reporting coupled with various added value ad hoc projects.

You will be involved in:

• Understanding, analysing and reporting on costs, variance and factory performance. Challenging operational areas using credible financial evidence to drive improved cost control. You will play the role of critical friend.
• Presenting dashboards of insightful and meaningful MI to assist operational managers / directors to understand their business areas and the financial impacts of the continuous improvement decision-making.
• Business partnering to deliver relevant KPI reporting to the group.
• Partnering with commercial areas regarding pricing, awareness and protection of margins, category profitability etc.
• Capex reporting / pre and post investment appraisal and presentation of business case
• Developing and driving improved understanding of wastage, labour variances, yields at site level.
• Month end management accounting (P&L / BS) - supporting the FC and Group FD.

You will be:

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified with a proactive, investigative and commercially-astute approach.
